Nextcom and UDIAN Partner for 300 MW Energy Projects in Balkans
Nextcom Group's subsidiary and Udi Angel's UDIAN have partnered to develop 300 MW of renewable energy projects in Serbia and North Macedonia, marking Nextcom's first international expansion.
CRE Entrepreneurship, a subsidiary of the Nextcom Group, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with UDIAN, owned by businessman Udi Angel. The companies' joint objective is to initiate, develop, and construct renewable energy and battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects in the Balkan countries.
In the initial phase of the partnership, which will be advanced on an equal basis, five projects with a total capacity of approximately 300 MW will be established in Serbia and North Macedonia. These projects have already received preliminary approvals for connection to the local power grids. The division of roles in the transaction is clear: Nextcom will provide the engineering and operational expertise, while UDIAN will lead the financing arrangements.
This move marks Nextcom Group's first entry into entrepreneurial activity outside Israel, leveraging the extensive experience it has accumulated domestically. The expansion abroad comes amid positive momentum for the company, which reported a 7.8% growth in revenue for the second quarter of 2026, totaling approximately 123.8 million NIS.
