Netanyahu Envoy Met Qatari Official Ahead of UN Speech
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's envoy met with a Qatari minister in New York just a day before Netanyahu criticized Qatar at the United Nations.
Michael Eisenberg, personal envoy for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Gaza affairs, met in New York with Qatari Minister Ali al-Thawadi. The meeting took place on Wednesday, just a day before Netanyahu sharply criticized Qatar during his address at the United Nations General Assembly.
Implementation of the Trump Plan
Eisenberg and al-Thawadi discussed the implementation of the Trump plan for the Gaza Strip and humanitarian measures that Israel has committed to undertaking. The meeting followed a session of the Peace Council addressing the initial reconstruction plan for the enclave.
"There is an eighth front in this war. This is the war for truth," Netanyahu stated during his UN speech.
Criticism at the United Nations
During his UN speech on Thursday, Netanyahu harshly attacked Qatar, claiming it finances billions of dollars in propaganda against Israel and hosts Hamas terrorists responsible for the October 7 massacre.
