Likud Wins Nes Harim as Tropper Edges Hendel by Four Votes
A tight ballot battle between neighbors Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel in the moshav of Nes Harim ended with a four-vote margin, while Likud won first place.

In the small moshav of Nes Harim, located within the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council, a unique local ballot showdown unfolded between two prominent neighbors: Chili Tropper, representing the Yashar! party, and Yoaz Hendel, head of the Reservists and Economy party. Despite the high-profile candidacy of both local residents, voters in the moshav gave first place to the Likud party, which captured 30.70 percent of the vote, translating to 229 ballots.
A Four-Vote Margin Between Neighbors
The direct race between the two local figures concluded with a dramatic four-vote difference. Tropper's Yashar! party secured second place in the moshav with 17.29 percent of the vote, or 129 ballots. Close behind in third place stood Hendel's Reservists party, which garnered 16.76 percent of the local vote, totaling 125 ballots.
Historical Voting Patterns in Nes Harim
A look back at previous parliamentary elections reveals that the internal balance of power in Nes Harim has remained largely consistent over the years. Likud previously led the moshav with a significant margin of 32.1 percent in past cycles, while Tropper's previous faction also claimed second place. Although Hendel's new political framework nearly doubled his support compared to past runs, it fell short of overtaking Tropper.
Ultimately, the results demonstrate that while local political figures fiercely competed in their shared hometown, the Likud party remains the dominant and stable political force among the residents of Nes Harim.
