Negev Tragedy: Brother Killed in Crash and Sister Found Dead Hours Later
A young man died in a Route 258 crash, and his sister was found dead with signs of violence near Nevatim hours later, prompting a police investigation into a possible link.

A double tragedy struck a Negev family on Thursday as a young man died in a severe road accident on Route 258, and his sister was found dead with signs of violence at her home approximately three hours later.
Emergency services responded to a collision between a private vehicle and an empty bus on Route 258 near the Hatrurim Junction. Paramedics from Magen David Adom found the driver of the car trapped inside, unconscious and suffering from severe multi-system trauma. Following rescue operations, medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
About three hours after the crash, police received a report regarding a woman in her 20s found lifeless inside her home in the Bedouin diaspora near Nevatim, bearing signs of physical trauma. Officers from the Ar'ara station and forensic investigators rushed to the location to gather evidence and examine the circumstances of her death.
Police stated that the young woman's body has been transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine to determine the exact cause of death. Investigators have launched a comprehensive inquiry and are examining all possible leads, including a potential connection between the fatal accident of the brother and the violent death of the sister.
