Moshe Korsia miraculously escaped: 'They threw a grenade'

Singer Moshe Korsia shared details on Wednesday of an unusual incident that occurred near his residential building in Tel Aviv. In an alarming post uploaded to his Instagram account, he told his many followers that he was stunned when he arrived home late at night:

"There is a chance I was saved thanks to the commandment of honoring parents. They threw a grenade at the entrance to the building, that is all I know at the moment. Blessed is He who performed a miracle for me."

Against the background of a video documenting glass shards at the entrance to his building, the singer expressed his shock. Police officers from the Tel Aviv District opened an investigation into the suspected throwing of an explosive item in the Park Tzameret neighborhood. There were no casualties.

The Israel Police, together with district sappers, arrived at the scene to begin investigative actions and the collection of evidence. According to authorities, it is suspected to be a fragmentation grenade, and the background to the incident is criminal.

Just last month, a similar incident occurred in the Tzahala neighborhood of northern Tel Aviv, when a stun grenade was thrown at a private house. That incident resulted in a loud explosion, but no injuries or property damage were reported. Police from the Tel Aviv North station are continuing to investigate the circumstances of these cases.
