"I didn't know there would be days like this. No filter, as is usual for us," Schumer wrote in the post.
In recent months, Schumer has spoken openly about her weight loss journey and the use of weight-loss medications. In 2025, on Howard Stern's show on SiriusXM, she explained that the underlying factor was a gene called GDF15, which she says causes extreme sensitivity to nausea — the same reason she was severely ill during her pregnancy. "I tried Ozempic almost three years ago and I was bedridden," she said. "I was throwing up and I had no energy. But other people take it and they are fine, so God bless them."
As recalled, last December, Schumer announced a surprising separation from Chris Fischer after seven years of marriage. In a post that has since been deleted, she wrote that the two made the difficult decision to separate, but emphasized that it was an amicable split. They were married in February 2018 in a ceremony in Malibu, and a year later their son Gene was born, who celebrated his seventh birthday in May.
