The Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry has issued two severe safety warnings regarding consumer electrical products that fail to meet official national standards and pose immediate physical danger to users.
Defective Aircraft Model Power Supply
The first warning involves a product recall announced by Shimon Schreiber Ltd, urging the public to immediately stop using the B3 model lithium battery charger power supply manufactured by China's FMS. This product was marketed in Israel as part of the RTF model airplane kit.
A safety inspection conducted by the Standards Institution of Israel on behalf of the Commissioner of Standardization revealed that the product does not meet the official safety requirements for information and communication technology equipment.
The laboratory analysis discovered:

Laboratory tests conducted by Hermon Laboratories Ltd revealed a long list of engineering and safety failures:

The Ministry of Economy and Industry emphasized that selling this charger in retail stores is now strictly prohibited by law. The Standardization Administration stated:
"It is absolutely forbidden to manufacture, import, or sell products that do not comply with Israeli mandatory standards. The regulatory body will continue to conduct unannounced market inspections to locate hazardous products."
