Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has vowed to address the inconsistent enforcement of technical area rules after picking up his second yellow card of the Premier League season during a match against Everton.

Arteta was cautioned by referee Tony Harrington in the second half for leaving his designated technical area. His assistant, Gabriel Heinze, also received a yellow card for a similar infringement. With Arteta now just one booking away from a touchline suspension, the Spanish manager revealed he has begun compiling video evidence of rival managers escaping punishment for the same offense.

"I need to be careful, and we need to have good sensors there," Arteta remarked following the match. "There are managers who hold the record in the league: 36 times in ten minutes they leave the technical area without any yellow cards. So I am collecting all these clips. I have a massive database of images. If someone tells me I do not hold the record and someone else does, that means the other manager should have received 36 yellow cards in ten minutes. I do not know where we are going with this."

Despite his frustration with the officiating, Arteta emphasized that Arsenal must remain fully focused on their on-field performances. The Gunners are currently maintaining strong momentum as the domestic campaign progresses, with the manager expressing satisfaction with the team's overall trajectory aside from a lone stumble against Brighton.
