Maya Kay fires back at Niv Gilboa: 'He goes home with himself'
After Niv Gilboa attacked Maya Kay on his personal account regarding price gaps between her brand and original products on AliExpress, the model is not staying silent.
Journalist and restaurant critic Niv Gilboa, host of the TV show 'Gilboa Index' on i24NEWS, published a video on his Instagram account expressing sharp criticism of model Maya Kay following a recent marketing campaign.
Gilboa claimed that Kay promoted imported goods during a special show while charging unusually high markups. 'The same Chinese products, only you will pay hundreds of percent more for them,' Gilboa told his followers.
Now, Kay notes that despite the harsh criticism, she has the upper hand. 'How much good this has done for us. It only showed me how many people truly support and cheer for us; he actually revealed to me the side of the good people,' Kay told 'Walla'.
Kay explained: 'He wanted to bring me down, but actually lifted me up. I cannot control people's mouths. If this is his way of conveying a message, he goes home and sleeps with himself.'
Kay concluded by highlighting the hidden costs of running a business, explaining that Gilboa erred by comparing prices without accounting for shipping, warranty, and branding expenses. 'He probably does not understand what is involved in building the business we have created; if he wants, let him order suits from AliExpress himself,' she concluded.
