Singer Maya Dadon to Perform at State Memorial Ceremony on Mount Herzl
Singer Maya Dadon is set to perform at the state memorial ceremony on Mount Herzl, following previous online controversy over her appearance at past national events.

Singer Maya Dadon will perform at the state memorial ceremony for the October 7 massacre and heroism on Mount Herzl. Two state ceremonies are scheduled, including one attended by President Isaac Herzog, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and IDF Chief of General Staff Eyal Zamir.
Dadon, who serves in an IDF military band, previously sparked controversy last year when she performed at the state memorial for former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, where she sang Aviv Geffen's song "To Cry for You".
Following the announcement of her upcoming performance, sources revealed that Dadon was flooded with harsh messages and online abuse on social media regarding her participation in the upcoming state ceremony.
