Wanda Nara's children were watching the game as burglars broke into their home
Argentine model Wanda Nara has released security footage showing four burglars breaking into her home in Italy. While the intruders were inside, her five children were watching the World Cup final before hiding in a bathroom.
Almost a week after the break-in at her home, Wanda Nara decided to reveal the frightening moments documented by security cameras. The Argentine model and media personality published videos in which a person dressed in black, with their face covered and wearing a hat, is seen moving quietly inside the house.
"The time is 22:34 in Italy. My children were watching the game without realizing there were four people in the house," she wrote alongside the footage.
The break-in occurred on July 19 at the family home in Galliate, in the Novara province, about 40 kilometers from Milan. Nara was in New Jersey at the time, where she was working during the 2026 World Cup final between Argentina and Spain. Her five children remained at home under the supervision of her mother, Nora Colosimo.
In another video, the children are seen running inside the house, trying to understand what is happening. According to Nara, after noticing the burglars, they locked themselves in the bathroom and tried to calm each other down. "I am proud of how brave my sons and my little ones were. Everyone calmed each other down," she wrote after the incident.
All the children and their grandmother emerged from the event without physical harm, but the family will remain under security in the near future due to the lingering fear. Nara said that the burglars stole passports and documents belonging to the family members, alongside bags, watches, and other valuables. According to her, they knew exactly where to go, went directly to her room, and found the bag where she usually kept the documents. Her lawyer, Ana Rosenfeld, claimed that the burglars might have known the property's layout because of the speed with which they reached the loot.
The Italian police are now checking if the burglars received assistance from someone who knew the house and the places where the valuable items were kept. The security videos were handed over to investigators and are included in the investigation materials, but at this stage, it has not been reported that any suspects have been arrested. Nara thanked the police officers who arrived quickly and said: "Material things can be replaced. The most important thing I have is my children."
