The earnings season on Wall Street is causing a severe shake-up, and big money is changing direction. Sylvia Jablonski, Chief Investment Officer at Defiance, explains that the decline in chip stocks is not the end of the road, but represents a necessary correction of expectations. According to her, investors are now demanding concrete proof that massive investments in artificial intelligence are actually generating profits, and capital is flowing to companies that are already showing results on the ground.

However, the real and most frightening drama is taking place in Asia. Violeta Todorova, a research analyst at Leverage Shares, warns that South Korea has become the market's thermometer:

"Asia has become the pressure gauge of the global artificial intelligence market. When Seoul falls, Wall Street listens."

Todorova highlights the anxiety in the markets, noting: "When Seoul sneezes, Silicon Valley catches a cold."

Alongside the chips, tech giants are also taking a hit. Paul Marino, Vice President at Themes ETFs, points to the boomerang effect in the market:

"The rapid collapse of SpaceX reminds investors that even the greatest stories must stand the test of profits."

Marino warns of the risk of concentration in indices and emphasizes: "Many investors are affected by the declines even if they never directly purchased these stocks."

Markets are now entering a fateful and nerve-wracking week. The employment report in the USA and security tensions in the Middle East could cause oil prices to spike and shake the stock exchanges. At the same time, the tense report from chip giant AMD will be the main test of the week—and will determine whether the demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure will hold up, or if the market is on the way to a collapse.
