Suspect in Hof HaCarmel fratricide identified

Advocate Muhammad Masarwa, representing Ohad on behalf of the Public Defender's Office, stated: "This is a tragic event. The brother denies the suspicions against him, is cooperating fully with the investigators, and has provided his version of the sequence of events. We expect the police to examine his account as soon as possible." The brother's detention was extended until Tuesday.
The report of the incident was received at 14:50, after the deceased's mother called the rescue services. MADA paramedic Hadas Amir said that upon the teams' arrival, the man was found unconscious, without a pulse and not breathing, suffering from physical injuries. After medical assessments, the teams were forced to declare his death at the scene.
