Fox Group joins the AI revolution and announces a new appointment
The retail group is appointing IronSource alumnus and Rise founder, Oren Brant, to a first-of-its-kind position in the company, with the goal of expanding the use of AI.

The Fox Group is taking a significant step toward the forefront of retail technology and announces the appointment of Oren Brant as the first Chief Data Officer (CDO) in the group's history.
The move reflects the management's view that data and artificial intelligence (AI) will be key growth engines in the industry in the coming years. Brant will lead the data and analytics strategy in the organization to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
The appointment follows Fox's investments in developing information infrastructure in recent years, with the goal of now maximizing the business value of these assets. Brant brings with him over 15 years of experience in leading data technologies.
In his last role, he served as co-founder and CEO of the company Rise, which developed an AI-based advertising platform, and previously held a series of senior management positions at the company IronSource.
Harel Wiesel, CEO and owner of the Fox Group, welcomed the move:
«The retail world is changing fast, and data management and analysis are critical for business decisions. The knowledge that Oren brings with him will help us identify new opportunities and continue to grow.»
Brant himself added:
«Data and AI are essential tools for creating innovation and competitive advantage in leading organizations. I look forward to working together with the group's management to leverage these capabilities and create significant value for customers and the company.»
As recalled, the Fox Group recorded a record quarter — revenues of 161 million shekels (an increase of 20%) — and announced a dividend of 20 million shekels.
