Fortissimo Capital Acquires Control of Inventory Giant RGIS for 400M Euros
Fortissimo Capital is acquiring a controlling 60% stake in inventory giant RGIS for 400 million euros, partnering with Migdal and Poalim Equity in a major global transaction.

Fortissimo Capital, led by Yuval Cohen, is acquiring control of inventory counting firm RGIS in a transaction valued at 400 million euros. Fortissimo will hold 60% of the shares, alongside partners Migdal Insurance and Poalim Equity, which will each hold 20%. The massive deal includes the assumption of 200 million euros in debt.
Acquisition Details and Background
According to reports, the shares are being acquired from Blackstone, which has held control of RGIS since 2006 after purchasing it from the founding family. Estimates published at that time valued RGIS at approximately 1.5 billion dollars. RGIS operates in the inventory counting market, providing essential auditing services for retail chains, warehouses, and logistics centers.
The transaction marks another major cross-border move for Fortissimo Capital, following Blackstone acquisition of a 70% stake in Priority Software from Fortissimo in May 2024.
Global Operations and Local Presence
Founded in Michigan in 1958, RGIS has expanded significantly outside the United States over the decades. Today, it operates in 66 countries and serves approximately 3,500 clients worldwide. In Israel, the company operates via ICX-RGIS, providing inventory services to retail and fashion chains, food importers, hospitals, and industrial manufacturing plants.
