The Amos Luzon Entrepreneurship and Energy Group has concluded a phenomenal quarter. According to the financial reports for the second quarter of 2026, published on Monday, the group presents a substantial surge in its results.

Operating profit jumped to 336 million NIS, and net profit climbed to 322 million NIS, compared to only 4 million NIS in the corresponding quarter of 2025. Additionally, the group's equity (in solo terms) crossed the 1 billion NIS mark, and the total balance sheet reached approximately 5.2 billion NIS.

The extraordinary jump in profit is primarily due to a strategic move in the group's energy arm. In May 2026, the group completed the acquisition of its partner Alumey's share, moving to full ownership (100%) of Luzon Energy, which owns Dorad. This step yielded a profit of about 328 million NIS resulting from the transition to control. Last August, the company signed a memorandum of understanding for the sale of 20% of Luzon Energy to "Mor Gemel ve-Pensiya" for about 230 million NIS—a deal reflecting an impressive valuation of approximately 4.4 billion NIS for Dorad.

The group's revenues in the second quarter totaled about 192 million NIS. Momentum was also recorded in other divisions: Luzon Credit raised about 102 million NIS in a public offering in March, and in the real estate arm, progress was recorded in the "Luzon Ronson" projects in Or Yehuda and Rishon LeZion, where the first building permits were received.

"We see the deal with Mor Gemel ve-Pensiya as a significant expression of confidence in the value built in our energy activity. The diversification of our operations is a significant advantage that allows us to create several growth engines, enhance the group's assets, and generate stable, long-term value for shareholders," commented Amos Luzon, the group's CEO.
