Economist and reservist Ronen Bodenro has announced he is joining the list of the new party led by Brigadier General (res.) Ofer Winter ahead of the 26th Knesset elections. The 35-year-old from Petah Tikva combines extensive experience in the economic and public sectors with a long record of reserve service.

On Tuesday, Ofer Winter officially launched his new party, presenting a list that includes prominent public figures such as activist Yoseph Haddad and journalist Netaeli Shem Tov.

Bodenro currently serves as a Major (res.) and deputy battalion commander in the 98th Division's medical unit. He previously served as a combat soldier and commander in the Egoz unit. Following the events of October 7, he participated in combat operations in the Gaza envelope and has since accumulated approximately 800 days of reserve duty.

Bodenro holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Ben-Gurion University and a master's degree in business administration from Tel Aviv University. In his previous role, he served as an economist in the health team at the Ministry of Finance's Budget Department, where he led major reforms, including the regulation of nurses' work during the COVID-19 pandemic, valued at over 400 million NIS. He currently works in the private sector at an investment firm.

"The sense of mission that drove me on October 7 is what motivates me now as I enter the public arena," Bodenro stated.

He expressed pride in joining Winter's team and committed to working in the Knesset to promote economic growth and support those suffering from post-traumatic stress and war-related injuries.
