Cleveland's trade: Dennis Schröder and cash for Tre Mann

Dennis Schröder is changing teams again. The Cleveland Cavaliers have traded the German point guard along with cash to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Tre Mann, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.

Schröder, who played last season for the Sacramento Kings and Cleveland, averaged 10.8 points, 4.9 assists, and 2.7 rebounds in 70 games. The 32-year-old point guard is expected to provide Charlotte with experience off the bench and serve as a backup to Coby White.

In recent years, the German has become one of the most prominent "nomads" in the NBA. Charlotte will be the 12th team he plays for during his 13-year career in the league, a figure that places him second in history.

Schröder will tie with Chucky Brown, Jim Jackson, Tony Massenburg, Joe Smith, and Garrett Temple, each of whom played for 12 different teams. The record belongs to Ish Smith, who played for 13 teams during his career.

Additionally, this will be the ninth trade involving Schröder in his career. The record in this category belongs to Trevor Ariza, who was traded 11 times during his career.

25-year-old Mann averaged 5.5 points, 1.6 assists, and 1.7 rebounds in 53 games last season.
