Police search for mother suspected of kidnapping her two children
Jerusalem police are searching for 20-year-old Olya Joy Hirschberg and her two children, who have been missing for nearly a year. Investigators believe they may still be in the Jerusalem area.
The police have issued an unusual public appeal for assistance in locating two children suspected of being kidnapped by their mother, who were last seen nearly a year ago.
Investigators from the Lev HaBira station in the Jerusalem District are conducting an investigation following a complaint against 20-year-old Jerusalem resident Olya Joy Hirschberg. According to police, the mother is suspected of kidnapping her two children, Tala Reisel (about 3 years old) and Nathan Yaakov Vorona (about one year old).
Investigation findings indicate that the mother and children entered the country in August 2025, and their tracks have been lost since then. Police investigators suspect that they may be located within the Jerusalem area.
On Monday, the police urged anyone with information regarding their whereabouts to contact the Israel Police 100 hotline or the investigative unit at 02-5391550.
