The poison machine echoed a vile libel against Katz – and rushed to be shocked by it

"Dismissal" on live broadcast, scream the headlines. And again, with devilish expertise, like in the story of the Likud video about Gal Eisenkot—which of course had nothing to do with him—the propagandists managed to ignite each other in their own tantrum and are competing among themselves as to who is shouting and who is "shocked" louder. The group of devoted slaves on the right and those who define themselves as 'journalists' are rushing to join the witch hunt, not bothering for even a moment to try and watch the clip from the broadcast itself. They do not bother for even a second to try and find out the truth or stick to the facts. They too, with the long-standing expertise of Stockholm syndrome victims, pour black and thick oil into the engines of panic and the poison machines that operate directly against them.

And the facts: Blut was not "dismissed" and not on live broadcast. It is a lie and a falsehood. Already last Tuesday, our excellent correspondent Hillel Biton-Rosen reported that Minister Israel Katz decided to promote Bar Kalifa to commander of the Central Command, after the Chief of Staff himself recommended him and after a conversation he held with him. Already at the end of April, it was reported on Channel 12 about the intention to appoint Bar Kalifa to the position. Back then, they did not scream, condemn, or get shocked.

Katz was asked on the program last night about Blut and was careful to speak about him with respect: "I disagree with him," is how he defined it. When asked: "Can you fire him?" Katz answered explicitly: "No." Katz repeated: "This general has authority. The general has powers that are exactly defined by law, not by anything else." Then he added: "Since it was already planned anyway, there is General Bar Kalifa... and I announced (note: I announced, past tense. Not announcing) that I decided to realize the intention and appoint him as commander of the Central Command. By the way, the Chief of Staff recommended him."

Even in the studio, they did not understand that there was any dramatic or unusual announcement here, and the statement passed as if it were said casually; it did not receive applause or an unusual gesture befitting a "dramatic" announcement as they tried to attribute to it. In the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, they were eager to issue a denial and condemnation—after all, there were explicit headlines in the poison! And there too, apparently, no one bothered to watch the broadcast. Out of too much haste, such a message came out: "The Chief of Staff has no intention of replacing commanders in key positions during this sensitive period, and after such a decision is taken by the Chief of Staff, it will be approved in accordance with the procedures."

So, before you too rush to fall for the pathetic spins of the malicious panic system—try to check for yourself. Do not believe half a word that comes out of their mouth or keyboard. If the "drama" is also accompanied by condemnations and shocks—check twice over.
