1. Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt are trying to limit Israel's activity in Gaza
The mediating countries in the Gaza Strip — Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt — have turned to the Trump administration, requesting that it pressure Israel to move forward with the ceasefire outline planned for the Gaza Strip according to Security Council Resolution 2803, and to prevent the continuation of the attacks. This is according to the newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat. The three countries criticized Israel for the recent elimination of Hamas terrorists, even though some of them participated in the October 7 massacre.
"The escalation of Israeli attacks is eroding regional and international efforts at a critical stage. It is necessary for Israel to comply with all its obligations under the ceasefire agreement," the mediating countries stated.
On this subject, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty spoke by phone with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan about the desire to promote the peace plan for the Gaza Strip, in accordance with the plan of US President Donald Trump.
