Milei opened by acknowledging the foundational goals of the UN for peaceful conflict resolution and human dignity as "lofty words," but stated that the sacred alliance has effectively broken. He criticized the organization's moral and political bias, highlighting its systematic votes against Israel while remaining silent on Islamic terror.
"Those who were supposed to guarantee collective security and human rights have failed in their role and allowed chaos, violence, and international terror to flourish," Milei declared.
Condemnation of Policies
The Argentine leader also attacked UN policies during the COVID-19 pandemic, describing lockdowns as a global experiment in social control. He criticized the gender agenda, environmental extremism, and uncontrolled migration, accusing the organization of imposing Orwellian control on liberal democracies.
