Israeli Man Arrested in Bangkok on Drug and Covert Filming Charges
A 54-year-old Israeli man was arrested in Bangkok for alleged drug possession, covert filming of women, and overstaying his visa by nearly six years. Thai police seized crystal meth and illicit recordings during the raid.

A 54-year-old Israeli national was arrested in Bangkok, Thailand, alongside a 44-year-old Thai woman following an operation by local law enforcement. Authorities detained the suspect over allegations of drug possession, intent to distribute, and the discovery of illicitly recorded sexual content on his mobile device.
According to Thai police investigations, the suspect used dating applications to invite women to his condominium. Investigators are examining claims that he provided his guests with food items containing narcotics before filming intimate encounters without their consent. Police are currently verifying whether the substances were used to incapacitate the victims and if the footage was intended for extortion.
Immigration records indicate that the Israeli man had overstayed his visa by 2,095 days, amounting to nearly six years of illegal residence in the country. During a raid on his apartment last week, officers seized 15 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a digital scale, packaging materials, suspected drug-laced baked goods, and a phone containing numerous secret recordings. The suspect denied ownership of the seized crystal meth.
Upon his arrest, the man reportedly claimed that influential associates would secure his release within two hours. He demanded the identification of the arresting officers, threatened to have them transferred or dismissed, and allegedly threatened to kill a police inspector.
