Irit Linor: "You hate Netanyahu and want to get rid of him"
During the program "The Patriots" on Channel 14, panelist Irit Linor sharply attacked the opponents of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, claiming that the reasons for opposing him change frequently, but the goal remains the same: to remove him from his position. Linor emphasized that his opponents do not shy away from any means and change their arguments according to the circumstances.
Linor detailed the sequence of arguments raised against Netanyahu over the years:
"Sometimes they don't want Bibi because of corruption. Sometimes because there is an indictment against him. Sometimes because he has simply been prime minister for too long and that is not healthy for democracy. Sometimes because there is a trial, sometimes because he is divisive and polarizing."
She added that now, the new argument focuses on the fact that Netanyahu was prime minister on October 7th, as presented by Hili Tropper.
The panelist did not hesitate to say things bluntly:
"You hate Netanyahu, you hate his voters, you want to get rid of him. No need. They excuse you for the lack of politeness."
Her words were met with applause from the audience and support from the other panelists. Yotam Zimri reinforced her words and said: "Because for decades, it's every time Bibi not because of this, Bibi not because of this, Bibi not because of this."
Another panelist added cynically that there is "progress" among Netanyahu's opponents:
"Once, with six mandates, you could be prime minister. Today, with barely four mandates, you can determine who will not be prime minister. That is already progress."
