Young Iranians, navigating one of the most turbulent periods in the nation's history, seek solace in rooftop gatherings, cafes, and private parties. These youths strive to adopt a Western-style lifestyle reminiscent of London or Paris, characterized by cultural openness and personal freedom in fashion.
They are young, they are Gen Z, they don't look any different from Gen Z here. They listen to the same music, they dress the same way, they have the exact same needs and desires as everywhere else.
Defying the Conservative Regime
One of the most striking features of this cultural shift is the refusal of Iranian women to comply with the regime's strict dress codes.
