Major fire at Strauss and Tapugan warehouses in Sderot

Firefighters are working at this hour (Monday) to extinguish a fire that broke out at the 'Yevulim' warehouse complex belonging to Strauss and Tapugan in the Sderot industrial zone.
The fire started at the Yevulim complex, where the Strauss salty snacks warehouse is located. In another section of the complex, unrelated to Strauss, there are concerns regarding a potential leak of hazardous materials.
Footage from the scene shows heavy smoke rising from the area where buildings in the complex were engulfed in flames. Firefighters are working on-site to contain the blaze, gain control of the situation, and prevent damage to nearby structures.
So far, there are no reports of casualties. Significant fire and rescue forces are on the scene, with additional units currently en route.
Strauss issued a statement in response: 'A fire broke out in a warehouse complex in the Sha'ar HaNegev industrial zone near Sderot, where the Strauss salty snacks warehouse is also located. The warehouse was evacuated, and there are no casualties. This incident has no connection to the factory's operations, which is not located within this complex.'
