IDF Recruits 285 Ultra-Orthodox Soldiers in November-December Draft
The IDF November-December draft for ultra-Orthodox recruits has integrated 285 soldiers into combat support roles so far, with combat tracks scheduled over the next two months.

The November-December IDF recruitment cycle for tracks dedicated to ultra-Orthodox recruits began last week, with 285 soldiers joining combat support roles so far. Additional draft waves, including combat tracks, are scheduled over the coming two months.
The dedicated tracks encompass both combat and combat support positions, operating under General Staff directives for integrating ultra-Orthodox citizens into military service. Ahead of the current cycle, military units and reception bases completed preparations to accommodate the new recruits and provide conditions necessary to preserve their lifestyle.
The IDF stated that the tracks and training programs have been structured to ensure ultra-Orthodox soldiers can maintain their religious way of life throughout their service. Furthermore, soldiers interested in career advancement will have access to command and officer tracks adapted to their lifestyle requirements.
The military welcomed the new recruits and announced it will continue working to expand the integration of ultra-Orthodox citizens into meaningful service while appropriately tailoring frameworks to their unique way of life.
