The Israeli investment house IBI has become an interested party in Jeen Technologies, an artificial intelligence company, after purchasing approximately 3.29 million shares last Thursday. The transaction was executed at a price of 4.3 NIS per share, totaling approximately 14.1 million NIS. This acquisition grants IBI a stake of nearly 7% in the company's share capital.

This move positions IBI as one of the prominent institutional bodies investing in Jeen Technologies, coinciding with a period of significant business expansion for the AI firm. Oded Tahori, CEO of Jeen Technologies, welcomed the investment, stating that it represents a strong vote of confidence from the investment house in the company's potential and growth engines.

IBI is not the first institutional entity to identify potential in the company. Last June, the Menora insurance company also became an interested party in Jeen Technologies, holding a stake of approximately 6.4%. However, IBI's investment of over 14 million NIS signals further growing interest from the Israeli capital market in companies operating in the generative artificial intelligence sector.

Surging Revenues and Defense Contracts

The background to IBI's entry includes a substantial improvement in Jeen's business operations. In the first half of 2026, the company's revenues surged by 286%, reaching approximately 14 million NIS. Concurrently, the projected revenue from signed work orders reached approximately 126.4 million NIS, compared to just 19.4 million NIS at the end of 2025.

One of the company's primary activity engines is the defense sector. Its subsidiary, Jeen Defense, received a third order from the Ministry of Defense within five months, valued at approximately 14.9 million NIS for immediate execution. In total, orders from the Ministry of Defense have reached approximately 23.5 million NIS, out of an agreement that could reach up to 45 million NIS.

Additionally, the company expanded its operations with another government security body. The license for the Jeen AI platform was extended and expanded for a period of 24 months, starting June 2026, for approximately 3.54 million NIS. The agreement includes extension options for the years 2028 to 2030, valued at approximately 1.18 million NIS per year, as well as an option to expand services by an additional amount of up to 37 million NIS.

Expansion in the Civilian Sector

Alongside its defense activities, Jeen continues to expand its operations in the civilian sector. The company signed a three-year agreement with a healthcare entity, with a potential value of up to 9.1 million NIS. It also secured an agreement with a financial entity with a potential exceeding 10 million NIS, and another agreement with a banking corporation valued at up to 12 million NIS.

Jeen Technologies develops and implements generative artificial intelligence solutions for large organizations, including corporate chat systems, AI assistants, and call analysis tools. The solutions are tailored to strict information security requirements and can be deployed in the cloud or on-premise. The company employs over 100 people, operates a development center in Tel Aviv along with international operations, and has been traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange since May 2025.
