Campaigners for Missing Heymanot Kasau Demand Shin Bet Take Over Investigation
Campaigners for missing girl Heymanot Kasau released an AI video alleging a biased response to her disappearance, demanding the case be transferred to the Shin Bet.

The headquarters campaigning for the return of Heymanot Kasau has released a controversial video on social media, arguing that the response to her disappearance would have been entirely different had she been a blonde child.
The clip features an AI-generated image of a blonde girl with braids, followed by a picture of Heymanot. Organizers asked where she would be today if her family had more resources, connections, or came from a different background.
Heymanot Kasau, now 11, was nine years old when she vanished on February 25, 2024, from the absorption center in Safed where she lived with her family. Despite extensive searches by police and rescue forces, the investigation has stalled.
The family and activists are demanding that the case file be transferred to the Shin Bet, asserting that the internal security agency's advanced intelligence and technological capabilities are urgently required to break the deadlock.
