Hapoel Tel Aviv Defeats Hapoel Jerusalem 3-0 to Go Second
Hapoel Tel Aviv defeated Hapoel Jerusalem 3-0 away on Saturday to claim its fourth straight win, temporarily moving up to second place in the league standings.

Hapoel Tel Aviv secured its fourth consecutive victory on Saturday, defeating Hapoel Jerusalem 3-0 away. Under the guidance of head coach Eliniv Barda, the team overcame a sluggish start to dominate their opponents, who suffered their third consecutive defeat and continue to struggle defensively.
Thanks to this victory, Hapoel Tel Aviv temporarily climbed to second place in the standings with 19 points, just one point behind Maccabi Tel Aviv, which temporarily claimed the top spot.
Coach Eliniv Barda praised Daniel Dapaah, who earned a spot in the starting lineup and scored the opening goal. "There is a good understanding between Daniel and Boateng, built on mutual help. He waited a long time for this chance and I am glad he took advantage of it," Barda said.
Reflecting on the match itself, Barda added, "The first half was not good enough and we are aware of that. We did not control the ball well enough, and we needed to be more intense. Our second and third goals came from incredible football sequences with plenty of passing and movement."
Hapoel Jerusalem coach Lior Zada expressed frustration over his team's defensive vulnerabilities. "We are conceding far too many goals. This was not a 3-0 game in terms of flow. The first 40 minutes were good, but we conceded a soft goal at a critical moment. We paid the price and I need to fix this issue," Zada stated.
