As Hanukkah approaches, bakeries and pastry chains across Israel have released their pricing for sufganiyot (doughnuts) for the 2026 holiday season. A market check reveals significant price gaps, with simple jam-filled doughnuts starting at 6 NIS and gourmet creations reaching up to 20 NIS per piece.

While several chains chose to maintain last year's prices despite rising costs for flour and raw materials, others adjusted prices, primarily in the gourmet category. Classic varieties mostly remained unchanged.

At Miflefet Naaman, management decided to keep prices identical to Hanukkah 2025. A classic jam sufganiyah remains at 6 NIS, dulce de leche at 8 NIS, and gourmet options range from 13 to 14 NIS. Mimei Naaman explained that the chain chose to absorb the cost increases to ensure accessibility for families during the holiday.

Roladin and Lehamim also kept their prices steady. At Roladin, standard strawberry and dulce de leche doughnuts cost 8 NIS, while gourmet selections range between 16 and 20 NIS. Lehamim priced its jam doughnut at 9 NIS and an unfilled version at 8 NIS.

Biscotti kept its basic jam doughnut at 8 NIS, though certain gourmet versions rose by 2 NIS to a range of 16 to 18 NIS. At Roladin and other venues, adjustments varied by category.

Shmuel maintained jam doughnuts at 7 NIS and dulce de leche at 8 NIS, while gourmet options increased by 1 NIS to 15 NIS. Biga lowered its basic price slightly from 11.25 NIS to 11 NIS, and Metuka held jam at 8 NIS while raising pistachio versions to 18 NIS.
