Delivery Startup HAAT Expands Operations into Tel Aviv and Sharon Regions
Delivery startup HAAT is expanding beyond Tel Aviv into the Center and Sharon regions, hiring a sales lead following an April funding round of 60 million shekels.

The delivery startup HAAT is continuing to expand its targets on the path to the Israeli mainstream, setting its sights beyond Tel Aviv to the entire Center and Sharon regions.
Following reports in July that the company was preparing to enter Tel Aviv and seeking potential local partners, the move is now expanding significantly. HAAT is currently looking for a sales professional to lead its growth in the central region, with responsibility for opening new markets, recruiting partners, and expanding operations with restaurants, grocery stores, and retailers.
Expanding Regional Operations
The recruitment ad explicitly states that the company is seeking a candidate with deep familiarity with the market in Tel Aviv and the Sharon region, including key players, trends, and business opportunities. This marks a significant upgrade from the preparations revealed in the summer, when the company sought a sales development representative to map and identify businesses across Tel Aviv. The new role is much broader, designed to lead the entire sales cycle and open new markets across the central region.
The expansion comes after HAAT completed a funding round of approximately 60 million shekels in April, at a post-money valuation of approximately 310 million shekels. Expansion into the Gush Dan metropolitan area was already highlighted at the time as one of the company's primary strategic goals.
Market Position and Competition
HAAT originally started its operations in the Arab sector and the geographical periphery. Today, the company operates in more than 40 cities and maintains partnerships with over 10,000 partners. Its operations are no longer limited to restaurants, having expanded into grocery stores, retail, and additional services.
«The new position does not indicate that the service has already been fully launched in Tel Aviv, the Center, and Sharon, but it provides a clear indication that the company is currently building its sales and partnership infrastructure ahead of a broad expansion in the area.»
From a competitive standpoint, this move brings HAAT into closer proximity to areas where Wolt is particularly dominant. While HAAT is an active platform in the fast delivery market, it is not yet considered a close substitute to Wolt in terms of demand volume and product variety.
