The storm surrounding Channel 12 correspondent Guy Peleg refuses to subside and is now reaching particularly personal and severe levels. It all began in August 2024, when Peleg published dramatic footage from the Military Advocate General's investigation into the case of alleged abuse of security detainees at Sde Teiman.

The report sparked a public earthquake and a sharp debate over the method of coverage, the reliability of the materials, and the implications for IDF soldiers. Since that publication, Peleg has found himself under heavy fire of criticism, which is now leaking directly toward his family members with the dissemination of malicious and false rumors.

The new phase of the attack on the journalist is now focused on his daughter, Roni Peleg. In recent days, various Telegram channels began circulating false and shocking reports, according to which she allegedly passed information to the Iranians about the residential locations of career officers in the Air Force and their families, all for a meager sum of $100. These are, of course, completely false claims that managed to go viral and reach a huge audience online in a short time.

The malicious attack on Peleg's daughter comes just two weeks after a similar wave of fake news was directed against his son, Uri. In the Telegram channel "Mivzakey Israel," it was written at the time that Uri Peleg allegedly created a musical piece that disparages the flag and the national anthem.

The false report claimed that he describes the Torah as a "blood book," rabbis as those who "eat blood," and even supposedly supports a "Kahanist dog regime." In this case as well, it was immediately clarified that this was a malicious lie intended to harm the journalist through his children.

Following the crossing of red lines and the harm to his family, Peleg decided to respond sharply to the matter on his show on 103fm radio.

"My family and I have been caught in a crossfire," Peleg shared with pain, adding that he is no longer surprised by the situation.

According to him, he understands that "there is no limit and there are no red lines, and all means are justified to try to intimidate and terrorize anyone who dares to criticize the ruler." Peleg did not stop there, and continued with a frontal and direct attack against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

"He is dangerous to Israel, he is dangerous to its citizens, he is dangerous to democracy and to everything I love with all my heart," the journalist concluded.
