Major deal in the USA: Israeli company acquires American insurance firm
The Israeli financial group has signed a binding agreement to acquire control of a company specializing in workers' compensation insurance, with the total assets of the acquired companies estimated at tens of millions of dollars.

The technology and finance group WeSure GlobalTech has signed a binding agreement to acquire the American insurance company UBIC and its sister company URS for approximately $900,000. The acquisition, which will be carried out through the subsidiary WeSure USA, will grant the group control over 92% of the acquired companies' operations, which specialize in workers' compensation insurance and the provision of management and claims services for businesses in the United States.
According to the details of the deal, as of the end of 2025, the total assets of the acquired companies stood at approximately $28.4 million, while the net earned premium was approximately $22 million. In addition to the share consideration, WeSure USA will pay approximately $1.75 million for the acquisition of UBIC capital notes. Upon completion of the deal, the company intends to work to strengthen the capital and reserves of UBIC in an amount estimated at approximately $10 million, in order to support continued growth and regulatory requirements.
Completion of the deal is subject to receiving regulatory approvals in the state of Utah and is expected to be realized by September 30, 2026. The current CEO and COO of UBIC have committed to continue in their roles for three years from the date of completion.
Emil Vainshel, Chairman of WeSure GlobalTech, noted that the combination of the group's digital payroll and underwriting systems with an active American insurance company creates significant potential for expanding the portfolio of solutions for small and medium-sized businesses in the USA.
