Great concern at Bayern: Jamal Musiala collapsed again and was forced to leave the pitch

Although he quickly got back on his feet, the recurrence of the incident has raised significant concerns for the German champions. Musiala himself sought to reassure fans, stating, "I feel good."
Jamal Musiala has once again caused great concern at Bayern Munich. The German star collapsed on the pitch during a friendly match against Heidenheim this Tuesday and was forced to leave the game just minutes after coming on as a substitute. Musiala entered the pitch in the 61st minute, replacing Ismael Saibari, but only six minutes later, the 23-year-old midfielder collapsed in the center of the field. Players from both teams rushed to his side while medical staff quickly arrived to provide treatment. After a few minutes, Musiala managed to stand up, though he appeared disoriented and struggled to maintain his balance. A staff member accompanied him toward the sideline, but after a few meters, he turned back and disappeared into the tunnel on the opposite side of the pitch. Bayern fans attempted to encourage him with cheers from the stands.
The incident is particularly concerning as it marks the second time in just a few days that Musiala has collapsed during a match. During Saturday's friendly against RB Leipzig, which ended in a 3:1 victory for Bayern, he also collapsed shortly before the final whistle after feeling weak. Musiala had missed the team's squad presentation on Monday to undergo individual training, making his appearance against Heidenheim somewhat unexpected.
"I am on the right path," Musiala wrote in an Instagram post. "I am especially grateful for the messages and support. I understand that many of you are worried and I want to dispel all concerns. I have been diagnosed with temporary, short-term disturbances caused by a neurological issue, which are well treatable. The important thing is that there is no health risk beyond that. I intend to manage the situation in close coordination with neurological experts and medical staff, and dedicate myself to what helps most in recovery: living my daily life and following my passion for football. I have taken responsibility for this. Overall, I feel quite good."
The club is now awaiting further medical tests to clarify Musiala's condition following these two worrying incidents within such a short period.
