Guard for Israeli Crime Boss Indicted Over Brutal Assault on Courier
An indictment was filed against Edi Ramzanov, a security guard for crime boss Yossi Musli, for brutally assaulting a Wolt courier in Savyon over suspicions he was a police informant. The victim suffered a fractured skull, while the suspect was arrested after two months on the run.

An indictment was filed on Monday against Edi Ramzanov, a security guard for organized crime boss Yossi Musli, for the severe assault of a Wolt delivery courier who arrived at Musli's residence in Savyon about two months ago.
According to the investigation findings by the Tel Aviv Central Unit (Yamar), the background to the attack was the suspicion held by Ramzanov and another guard that the courier was not an innocent worker, but rather a police collaborator sent to monitor Musli. At the time, Musli was under house arrest in accordance with a judicial order issued by the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court. The guards suspected that police intelligence was attempting to gather information on him, leading them to believe the delivery worker was acting on law enforcement's behalf.
According to the indictment, Ramzanov and another guard fell upon the courier and struck him in the head. Even after he fell to the ground, the two continued to punch and kick him while he lay bleeding. As a result of the assault, the courier sustained serious injuries, including a skull fracture and cerebral hemorrhage, and was hospitalized for several days.
During the early stages of the investigation, Musli himself was arrested but subsequently released. During court proceedings, he denied involvement in the assault, claiming he merely brought the courier water and did not harm him.
One of the most significant details of the investigation involves the attempt to conceal evidence. The two guards reportedly stole the courier's mobile phone after he used it to record the attack. However, the disappearance of the phone did not prevent investigators from gathering other evidence. DNA belonging to Ramzanov was recovered from cigarette butts and a bottle found at the scene, linking him to the location and forming a key part of the evidentiary foundation against him.
Ramzanov fled following the incident and managed to evade arrest for nearly two months before being apprehended by police. Under interrogation, he rejected the allegations against him, stating that false accusations were being fabricated and that he harmed no one. Meanwhile, while an indictment has now been filed against Ramzanov, the second guard suspected of participating in the attack and fleeing the scene has yet to be located.
