France Imposes Strict Limits on Israeli Defense Firms at Euronaval
France has restricted Israeli defense companies from displaying offensive systems at the Euronaval exhibition near Paris, barring official government representatives amid growing diplomatic friction.

The diplomatic crisis between Israel and France continues to impact Israeli defense industries as restrictions are imposed on their participation in the upcoming Euronaval maritime exhibition near Paris. French authorities have conditioned the presence of Israeli companies on showcasing exclusively air defense and anti-missile interception systems, while banning offensive technologies.
Furthermore, Paris has barred official representatives of the Israeli government, including Ministry of Defense officials, from attending the biennial defense fair. A defense official criticized the move, stating that the decision is designed to protect French industries from competition under cynical commercial pretexts.
This follows previous restrictions where Israeli firms faced bans at last year's Euronaval, prompting a legal challenge that overturned the exclusion shortly before the event. Similar measures have affected Israeli participation at other major French exhibitions, including the Paris Air Show and Eurosatory, amid heightened political tensions and sharp criticism from President Emmanuel Macron regarding military operations in Gaza.
