From Ramat Gan Property to Supplement Giant: The Rise of FILL IT
Alex Northrop turned a 350,000 shekel apartment deposit into FILL IT, a top Israeli online supplement brand that grew 300% in two years and now targets the US market.

Alex Northrop, founder of the dietary supplement brand FILL IT, traded a planned apartment purchase in Ramat Gan for a business venture that has surged by roughly 300% over the past two years. Starting with an initial capital of 350,000 shekels, Northrop carved out a prominent space in the Israeli online retail market without external venture capital funding. Today, the brand ranks second in online supplement sales in Israel and is setting its sights on the United States.
Transitioning from Gaming to Wellness
Before entering the wellness industry, Northrop spent approximately 15 years in the competitive gaming sector. Seeking a tangible product rather than a virtual one following the birth of her children, she drew upon her personal habits as an avid consumer of vitamins to design her own formulas. Despite facing skepticism from established manufacturing plants, she persistently pursued production partnerships until her first line was successfully manufactured.
"I remember arriving at a factory that produces for one of the biggest companies in the country and being asked: What am I going to do with you? Where did you come from? But I did not give up. I called factories day after day to secure a spot on the production line."
Scaling Operations and Expanding to the US
The company achieved profitability during its very first year of operation, subsequently expanding distribution channels to include duty-free shops and delivery platforms like Wolt. While addressing competition from international giants such as iHerb, Northrop emphasizes the stringent regulatory standards of the Israeli Ministry of Health as a key advantage.

-

Looking ahead, the brand already ships products from Israel to American consumers but plans to establish direct local manufacturing within the United States to facilitate broader direct-to-consumer distribution.
