Erel Segal: "Bennett is a clown and a bullshitter. I am going crazy from the level of his charlatanism"

During the program "The Patriots" on Channel 14, Erel Segal harshly attacked former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, following a plan he presented regarding the future of the Gaza Strip, in which he proposed bringing Egypt into the picture instead of Turkey and Qatar.

Segal criticized the proposal and argued that Egypt had a significant role in the arrangements with the Gaza Strip even before the October 7 attack. According to him, "Those who did the arrangements before October 7 were the Egyptians."

Later, Segal raised questions regarding the extent of Egypt's knowledge about what was happening in the Strip. "If they really, as Mr. Bennett says, know everything and are experts on Gaza, then they knew what was happening in Gaza, and they didn't tell us," he said.

Segal continued and attacked Bennett personally: "With them he wants to do business?! A clown and a bullshitter. I am going crazy from the level of his charlatanism." Later he added that Bennett "knows he is talking nonsense," and called on him not to return to politics.

During the discussion, Segal also mentioned Bennett's past political cooperation with Mansour Abbas and claimed that his words on the Gaza issue are not credible.
