The star decided to reveal in a video her new financial investment — spending that occurred in just one month: a variety of luxury bags from top brands, with a cumulative value that takes the routine shopping trip to the extreme.
Excessive or envy-inducing? Cardi B (33) decided to treat herself to a little shopping spree and present a "modest" haul. This past weekend, she uploaded a video to TikTok in which she shows off the new bags she purchased in recent weeks. The total value of the pleasure? More than 187,000 dollars, which is a little over 560,000 shekels.
"Some of them are a bit excessive and some are a bit calm," the rapper shared. Of course, in Cardi's dictionary, even the "calm" can be worth several average salaries.
First, she pulled out a Chanel Maxi Flap bag in yellow, black, and red, with a gold strap, worth 8,500 dollars. Cardi said she had already purchased a matching outfit for the bag three months ago, but when she tried to get it, she discovered that someone had snatched it from under her nose. And not just anyone: Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner's former bestie, who arrived at the store 30 minutes before her and took the last bag. However, Cardi did not give up, managed to get what she wanted, and even managed to perform with it in Brooklyn, while wearing a Chanel Pre-Fall 2026 Métiers d'Art suit.
From there, she moved on to her everyday bag — another Chanel Maxi Flap, this time in classic black and worth 9,300 dollars. "I really want it in green," she noted, because why settle for one?
Next, Cardi presented a furry Chanel bag with a cheetah print worth 15,955 dollars. "Look at it, she is so beautiful," the star enthused, and added the sentence we all tell ourselves after shopping: "I had to have her... I know it will be one of my favorite bags this coming fall."
From there, she continued to a Bottega Veneta bag that cost her 6,700 dollars in Paris, and then pulled out a pink crocodile skin mini Birkin, the value of which is estimated at about 25,000 to 35,000 dollars. The reason for the purchase? She already has the exact same bag in a regular size, and according to her, she had to have the smaller version as well.
As if that wasn't enough, another crocodile skin mini Birkin arrived, in a Gris shade, a matte gray and light blue, and to finish, she pulled out the most expensive bag in her current shopping frenzy: Hermès Birkin Jaune Bourgeon Alligator Mini, in bright green and with a value of 44,100 dollars.
At the end of the video, Cardi thanked the fans and promised that the next chapter of her shopping haul will be dedicated entirely to shoes.
