The Most Talked-About Elizabeth Holmes Documentary Is Finally Coming
The acclaimed documentary You Can See Everything, following Elizabeth Holmes before prison, is officially coming to theaters following a major global distribution deal.
The Elizabeth Holmes Hype Train
Over the past few weeks, it has been impossible to miss the incredible buzz surrounding You Can See Everything, the documentary following Elizabeth Holmes just weeks before she began her prison sentence. Despite a very limited release by A24, the film quickly became one of the most talked-about movies of the year, earning strong Oscar buzz.
From medical visionary to federal inmate, Holmes founded Theranos at age 19, promising revolutionary blood tests from a single drop. The company collapsed as a massive fraud, and Holmes was convicted and sentenced to over eleven years in prison.
The Nathan Fielder Factor
The film is directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, with Fielder shadowing Holmes roughly a month before her incarceration. Fielder's unique comedic and documentary style adds a bizarre, captivating layer to the project, drawing widespread acclaim following a secret screening at the Telluride Film Festival.
"You Can See Everything offers a chilling yet darkly fascinating glimpse into the final moments of freedom for one of the decade's most infamous corporate figures."
Coming to Local Theaters
While international distribution initially seemed unlikely, Sony Pictures recently acquired global rights. Forum Film has officially confirmed that the movie will hit theaters on November 26, bringing one of the year's most anticipated cinematic events to local audiences.
