Cybersecurity giant CrowdStrike announced that it will invest millions of dollars in the Israeli startup Above Security, which develops a platform for detecting and responding to internal threats in organizations. The investment will be made through the company's Falcon Fund and will also include a strategic partnership between the parties.

As part of the collaboration, Above's artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities will be integrated into CrowdStrike's Falcon Next-Gen SIEM platform. The goal is to enable the company's customers to identify, investigate, and respond to internal threats directly from within the platform.

According to the companies, Above's technology is based on a set of AI agents that operate continuously and analyze behavior across identities, applications, data movement, and work contexts, with the goal of detecting abnormal activity within the organization. In addition to the technological integration, CrowdStrike will market Above's solution to its customers worldwide as part of a joint sales effort.

The partnership between the companies was born after Above was selected from nearly 1,000 applicants to participate in the Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator, a joint initiative of CrowdStrike, AWS, and NVIDIA. Subsequently, the company reached the finals of the RSAC 2026 competition and won second place.

The investment also comes shortly after Above completed a $50 million funding round, led by Ballistic Ventures, Merlin Ventures, and Norwest.

Aviv Nahum, CEO and co-founder of Above Security, stated:

"CrowdStrike's investment proves that our approach, which includes detecting internal threats, is correct and must be based on real investigation – not just on policies. The combination of our technology with CrowdStrike's platform and distribution network will help more organizations deal with this risk in practice."

Michael Sentonas, President of CrowdStrike, added:

"Our Falcon Fund invests in companies that are breaking ground on the industry's most significant cyber challenges. The agent-based approach that Above has built for managing internal risks is exactly that. We are excited to integrate their capabilities into our platform, open another path for the transformation of legacy solutions, and support the team as it continues to innovate and bring new capabilities to organizations around the world."
