In Iran, they threaten Ukraine: "Every attack has a price"

The chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in the Iranian parliament, Ebrahim Azizi, sent a warning tonight (between Sunday and Monday) on his X account, clarifying that "every attack against Iran has a price." In his remarks, Azizi noted that the USA and Israel are well aware of this, and added that Ukraine will also soon understand that Iran does not leave actions without a response. Azizi concluded and warned that the list of countries that err in their calculations is growing.

Azizi's words come against the backdrop of the Ukrainian attacks in the Caspian Sea. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated over the weekend that his army had carried out "long-range strikes in the Caspian Sea" as part of the military campaign against Russia. According to him, the attacks were directed against vessels used for "military cargo shipments related to Iran, as well as a warship." Zelensky refrained from providing further details regarding the identity of the ships. Following the attack, Iran summoned the charge d'affaires of Ukraine in Tehran, Yevhen Kravchenko, for an urgent meeting.

Parallel to the reports of the attack in the Caspian Sea, Zelensky revealed in a post published on the X network a close intelligence cooperation between Moscow and Tehran. According to him, Ukraine has identified that Russia is transferring satellite observations of the Middle East to Iran, with the aim of assisting the Islamic Republic in targeting and refining its strikes in the region.

This is not Azizi's first direct threat against Kyiv. Last March, Ebrahim Azizi, head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee in the Iranian parliament, threatened that Ukraine had become a "legitimate target" due to aid it had provided to Israel.

"By providing support to the Israeli regime through UAVs, the collapsing Ukraine is effectively involved in the war. According to Article 51 of the UN Charter, this has turned its entire territory into a legitimate target for Iran," Azizi wrote then.
