Emirates Suspends Code-Share with flydubai on Tel Aviv Routes
Emirates suspended its code-share agreement with flydubai for Tel Aviv routes following a hijacking attempt, halting new bookings and connections.

Following the attempted hijacking incident aboard a flydubai flight, Emirates announced the immediate suspension of its code-share partnership with flydubai for all routes to and from Tel Aviv.
According to the airline, passengers whose final destination is Tel Aviv will not be accepted for boarding at their point of origin. This prevents travelers from starting journeys that include a connecting flight to Tel Aviv under the previous interline agreement.
However, passengers currently en route to Tel Aviv will receive assistance from the carriers to complete their travels. Affected travelers are advised to contact their travel agents, customer service centers, or check the official Emirates website for updates.
This decision adds to ongoing operational changes on the Dubai-Tel Aviv corridor, reflecting heightened security measures and flight restrictions following the hijacking attempt.
