Embarrassment in Washington: Channel 12 reporter denied entry to the White House

Channel 12 news correspondent Yaron Avraham, who traveled to Washington to cover the Prime Minister's diplomatic visit, reported in a live broadcast that he was not issued an entry pass to the White House complex. According to him, the relevant authorities clarified that the reason for the denial of entry was the classification of the meeting between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu as a private event. The reporter provided these details during a conversation he held from Washington for the Channel 12 night show, hosted by Yair Cherki and Jackie Levy.
During the broadcast, Avraham also addressed the logistical conditions that accompanied the Israeli reporters who went to cover the diplomatic event overseas. He noted that media representatives were not granted permission to join the Prime Minister's entourage and were not allowed to board the 'Wing of Zion' aircraft.
As a result of the decision not to include media personnel on the official plane, the journalists were forced to find independent travel solutions and fly on regular commercial flights. Avraham described the journey the journalists underwent as a series of exhausting and complex flights.
In his remarks, the reporter emphasized the gap between the initial expectations and the actual reality in Washington, as the journalists sent from Israel encountered strict procedures that prevented them from having direct access to the center of the diplomatic proceedings.
