Elbit Systems is shifting its annual company retreat for 22,500 employees and their families to Eilat this year, providing a major economic boost to the southern resort city. Instead of traveling abroad, employees will stay across eight leading hotels managed by Isrotel, Astral, and Dan.

In addition to the workforce, Elbit Systems decided to host over 200 guests, including wounded IDF soldiers, bereaved families, and soldiers from adopted battalions. The initiative aims to strengthen solidarity among employees while supporting the Israeli economy during challenging times.

Dr. Shelly Gordon, Vice President of Human Resources at Elbit Systems, stated: "We decided to hold the annual retreat here in Israel because Elbit is first and foremost an Israeli company deeply rooted in the local economy. Embracing wounded IDF soldiers, whom we have supported for years and especially since October 7, is the natural and right thing to do."
