El Al Israel Airlines has updated its change and cancellation fee policy for flights between Israel and the United States during peak seasons and holidays in 2027. The new policy takes effect immediately for tickets purchased for specific high-demand travel dates.

Under the updated rules, passengers booking new tickets for US routes during designated peak periods will face special change and cancellation fees. These measures aim to manage high demand around Jewish holidays and peak travel seasons, with exact fees depending on the ticket class and the timing of the request.

The specific affected dates include Passover travel from Israel to the US between April 15 and April 20, Lag BaOmer flights from May 19 to May 23, and Sukkot travel from October 6 to October 14. For return flights from the US to Israel, special fees will apply for post-Sukkot travel on October 25 and October 26.

Simultaneously, El Al announced its largest-ever summer schedule for the Americas, featuring 63 weekly flights across seven destinations starting in late March 2027. The airline will offer a record 35,000 weekly seats utilizing its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet to meet growing international demand.
