Gadi Eisenkot Submits "Yashar!" Party List to Knesset with Yoram Cohen in Second Spot
Former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot submitted the candidate list for his "Yashar!" party to the Knesset, naming former Shin Bet chief Yoram Cohen second and Adi Altshuler as the education minister candidate.

Former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot, a leading candidate for the next prime minister, submitted the official candidate list of his "Yashar!" party to the Knesset on Monday afternoon.
Former Shin Bet Director Yoram Cohen is placed second on the list, followed by former minister Orit Farkash-Hacohen in third place. Social entrepreneur and educator Adi Altshuler is positioned fourth, and former minister Matan Kahana takes the fifth spot.
Key Placements and New Alliances
Chili Tropper, who dissolved his political partnership with Yoaz Hendel yesterday to join Eisenkot, is placed sixth. Shaul Meridor, the former head of the Budgets Department at the Ministry of Finance, is seventh. Tair Ifergan, former director-general of the Ministry of Labor, is eighth, followed by Oshrat Gani-Gonen, head of the Drom HaSharon Regional Council, in ninth. Closing the top ten is Shira Shapira, the mother of Aner Shapira, who fell in the "death shelter" near Re'im on October 7. Shapira joined Eisenkot's list yesterday alongside Tropper.

Education Ministry Nominee
Yesterday, Eisenkot announced the addition of educator Adi Altshuler to the "Yashar!" party. The party stated that Altshuler, the founder of the "Krembo Wings" youth movement, Israel Prize laureate, and recipient of the President's Medal, will be the party's candidate for Minister of Education.
