Dor Harari Talks Acting with Eliana Tidhar While Her Husband Watches

Actor Dor Harari, 37, recently attended the premiere of the new television series "Undercover Teacher," where he portrays the romantic partner of Eliana Tidhar, 34. Interestingly, Tidhar's real-life husband, Lee Biran, 36, is also part of the show's cast. In a recent interview, Harari shared his thoughts on playing the on-screen partner of a major youth icon while her husband is right there on set.

"Am I kind of fulfilling a dream for a lot of people? Is that the buzz? But I don't know to what extent, maybe even my own," Harari replied with a smile. Beyond the playful remark, the actor was quick to praise his co-stars, emphasizing their exceptional work ethic and professionalism both on and off the camera.

"It was tremendous. Eliana and Lee are two top-tier professionals, and that professionalism is rooted first and foremost in who they are as people," Harari shared. "It shows in their behavior, their conduct, and their friendship. The entire series reflects their spirit, and I am so proud, proud, proud. And getting to be Eliana's partner along the way—almost her partner—is just a huge joy."

Both Harari and Biran are no strangers to the spotlight or the dance floor, having previously competed in the hit reality competition "Dancing with the Stars." When asked if their dance skills might make an appearance in the series, or if he might convince Tidhar to join him, Harari hinted at other talents: "I don't know, maybe. Perhaps other abilities of mine will show up in the series, like music, guitars, singing."

Turning to his own personal life, Harari recently married his partner Hagar Dekel, 25, in an intimate ceremony in Cyprus last August. Asked if he and his wife might ever collaborate on a joint professional project, he initially joked, "Unequivocally no," before quickly adding, "Just kidding." He went on to explain, "We are private people, and that matters a lot to us," while warmly praising his wife's capabilities: "She could do it, by the way, she is a very talented woman. It's just not something that interests her right now."

Although Dekel prefers to stay out of the acting world, Harari views Tidhar and Biran as a shining example of a successful creative partnership. "Lee and Eliana are a brilliant example of a couple where both are involved in the same profession, and it works big time," he concluded.
