Exclusive documentation from the Beaufort outpost where fighters are preparing for combat

In exclusive footage broadcast this evening (Thursday) in the news edition, we went into the security zone in Lebanon and reached the Beaufort outpost — one of the greatest symbols of combat in Lebanon. Fighters from the 75th Battalion of the Armored Corps accompanied us as we entered the place that recently returned to IDF control after 26 years.

On the way to the outpost, we crossed the Litani River. From there, we continued forward toward the historic fortress that was always visible on the horizon. After about two hours of driving, we finally arrived at the destination. Two company commanders who fought to capture the outpost reflect on the battle, the moments under fire, and the sense of mission that has accompanied them from then until today.

This is an area that is very complex to maneuver in. Steep mountains and a central river make it difficult to move between the points under our forces' control. But the knowledge and thoughts of the Israeli communities located behind them drive the fighters to overcome all difficulties and continue the important mission.

Although reports have recently surfaced that as part of the agreement between Israel and Lebanon our forces are about to withdraw from the security zone, one clear message emerges from Beaufort: the commanders and fighters here are convinced that the mission is not yet complete, and are determined to continue until a decisive victory.
